The 2000 Christmas tree following reconstruction after "the accident" which involved the tree falling over after being completely decorated.  A gallon and a half of water and preservatives spilled all over the hardwood floor, bummer!

This cardinal has a broken wing but manages to survive by hopping out from the bushes to eat fallen birdseed.  Heidi had him in her mouth the day before this photo was taken but the cardinal had yet another harrowing escape...
