Highlights
At long last we return to Gunflint! The newbies this year are one Mr. Joshua Patsey and the infamous Karl Satterblom. Our trip took us a bit further north this year as we ventured into the Quetico wilderness area of Ontario. We saw moose, leeches, tons of fish and lots of paradise. The days were sunny and warm, the evenings cool and dewy. We slept to the sound of wolves, bear loons and some significant snoring. Fishing was excellent and we got a great workout with the paddling and long portages. There was plenty of time for us to catch up on some reading as well. It was a refreshing trip to paradise.
