Forest Fires in Minnesota 1995
These pix are from our 1995 trip to the boundary waters.  We encountered some amazing forest fires and had to be evacuated from the wilderness on the last day of the trip.  Some shots were taken on the island of our initial campsite which we would later have to abandon.  After an arduous paddle into heavy winds we eventually pitched a second camp on another island and watched fires burn all night in every direction. It was quite scary.
