Add to my list of busted stuff, once protective fence that Dad & I built to keep the next door neighbor's bougainvillea leaves from burying my air conditioner. It worked great for 3 years then finally succumbed to the elements. We had daydreamed up an idea for one out of PVC tubing and made it a reality this October. It was much fun!

The frame is built with PVC tube, 2 elbow joints and two "T" joints. It lowers onto 2 metal poles we sunk into the ground so it is easy to remove if I need to weed back there. The screen was attached by screwing some screen door edging onto the tubes then pressing the screen in with a rubber strip and roller.
